A healthy new influx of games has settled at the top of the Australian retail charts, with Electronic Arts claiming 3 of the 5 top 10 spots once again this week. Its big winner is The Sims 2: Open for Business, which ascends from #5 last week to #1 now, while the PS2 and Xbox versions of Black slip a bit to #3 and #4 respectively. Also in the upper reaches of the chart is Atari's V8 Supercars, another game which sees both PS2 and Xbox versions place on the charts at #2 and #4. After that, EA claims more territory with Need for Speed: Most Wanted at #6 and Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II debuting this week at #7. In the lower reaches, however, Australian consumers start to backslide a little, and some older games from last year's holiday season start to creep back up into the last three slots. WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 06 sneaks back into the chart with #8, while Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time turns back the clock to the days when it was #9 and Ratchet: Gladiator fights its way into the #10 position.
