Design software developer Autodesk has partnered with the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade to provide Autodesk education suites to faculty and students at 19 different Spanish universities. A statement from Autodesk said the country is looking to raise the design capabilities of its university graduates, in light of increased demand for skilled computer graphics users. Autodesk's Education Suite for Entertainment Creation is intended to offer training in 3D modeling, animation and rendering. The company worked with the Spanish ministry to identify appropriate educational software by "researching the local games market, pipeline requirements and academic programs," Autodesk said. The education suite includes Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Softimage, Autodesk MotionBuilder, Autodesk Mudbox and Autodesk SketchBook Pro software. Autodesk will also provide a training course for faculty.
