Publisher Atari has announced that former Capcom, Sega, and Psygnosis vet Tim Flynn has joined the company as its vice president of sales, where he will oversee its retail and digital distribution efforts. Flynn joins the company most recently from Capcom, where he also served as its VP of sales, helping, says Atari, to restructure and grow the publisher as its head for all North and South American sales. Prior to that, Atari says Flynn has 30 years of sales and retail experience, serving as Hip Interactive's sales VP, director of Sega's North American sales, and sales director of Psygnosis. Said Atari CEO and president Jim Wilson, "Tim brings to Atari, Inc. a great deal of industry experience. His stellar track record as a sales executive combined with his focus, energy and management skills make him an ideal person to spearhead sales efforts in North America and position us as a leader in sales and distribution."
