The Casual Games Association has announced keynotes, presentations and events for the Casual Connect Europe industry event, set to take place in Amsterdam February 6-8th, 2008. Featured lectures include: Google’s Advertising Initiatives: What this Means for the Casual Games Community; Microsoft’s Gamine Experience Group, with Microsoft's Chris Early; PlayFirst's Kenny Dinkin on Character Cash or Financial Fictions: The Art and Business of Story Development in Casual Games, and PopCap Games' John Vechey on Portals. Additional presentations will feature WildTangent's Alex St. John on Maximizing Revenue With New Business Models; Eidos' Ian Livinsgstone on Portal to High Street, and The Funded.com's Adeo Ressi, with Funding: What Every Business Person Needs to Know. The Casual Games Association has also planned parties and special events surrounding Casual Connect Europe -- a "Pre-Funk" party on the 5th of February, a Party With Real on the 6th, and a MumboJumbo Party on February 7th.
