Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
While Gamasutra's writers have been slaving away over hot keyboards reporting on the game industry, there have been people working behind the scenes to bring major updates to our job board.
Hey readers, While Gamasutra's writers have been slaving away over hot keyboards to deliver what you need to know about The Art and Business of Making Video Games, there have been people working behind the scenes to bring major updates the Gamasutra Job Board (Log in to Gamasutra first, if you want to get started right now!). This is the biggest tech upgrade to our job board in seven years. The main goal of the redesign was to make your experience simple and easy when searching for your next career move within the game industry. Here are the new features of our job board: • Full mobile compatibility. • Fully customizable Job Agents with expanded search parameters and auto-notification options. • LinkedIn Integration: Import your job seeker profile from LinkedIn and share job listings with your connections on LinkedIn. And you'll still have some classic features, including: • Find your next job with GDC exhibitors, and top employers in the game industry. • Upload your resume to Gamasutra's resume database to get noticed. • Receive emails with the latest and greatest jobs posted at the click of a button. We'd all love to hear your thoughts about the board, both the good and not-so-good. Take the survey, and you'll be entered to win a free expo pass to GDC Next and ADC in November in L.A. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. If you upload a new resume to the resume database, you'll be entered for a chance to win one of three Das Keyboard Model S keyboards. Just upload your resume or import your profile from LinkedIn to be eligible. Make sure to check out the FAQs here to get your questions answered about the new job board (again, Gamasutra log-in required). E-mail us to share feedback and report bugs. So go ahead and check it out now. As always, thanks for reading Gamasutra. Kris Graft Editor-in-Chief, Gamasutra
