In another of today's main features, weekly mini-column "Release This!" takes a look at the video games available at retail for the week of December 12, 2005. It's a quiet week all around, with the last remaining titles for 2005 trickling into the United States, a surprising PSP tie-in boom in Europe, and a charming 2D puzzler released in Japan. The heavy hitters this week include a new port of the fan-favorite Final Fantasy IV for the Game Boy Advance, the newest game in the Gauntlet franchise, and a new 3D remake of 1993's Mega Man X for the Japanese PSP, all of which are detailed in the column. You can read the full Gamasutra feature on the subject, including additional game highlights for Friends: The One With All The Trivia, Prince of Persia: Revelations, and Exit (no registration required, please feel free to link to the article from external websites).
