Conspiracy Entertainment has announced an agreement with developer Neko Entertainment to publish Cocoto Kart Racer, an arcade racing game previously available for the PS2 and other platforms, for the Nintendo Wii in the second quarter of 2008. Originally released in Europe in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 and ported to the PC, GameCube, and Nintendo DS since, Cocoto Kart Racer features 12 different carts, 12 unique characters, 5 distinctive worlds, and 6 game modes. The title’s multiplayer mode will allow up to four players will to race against each other. Cocoto Kart Racer’s Wii release follows the launch of Cocoto Magic Circus on the same console in March. Conspiracy Entertainment and Neko Entertainment hope to expand the Cocoto franchise and “fill the large demand for new, interactive content for the Wii."” Said Marco Husges, Executive Vice President of Conspiracy Entertainment: "In 2005, we partnered with Neko to bring to market Cocoto Kart Racer for the Nintendo DS, and are excited to collaborate again on its development for the Wii. This version of Cocoto Kart Racer is sure to thrill youth audiences as Cocoto gets back into action with all his friends to race across the land of Abyss.”
