Independent social game developers CrowdStar and RockYou have added BringIt's challenge and tournament platform into their games, claiming significant increases in average revenue per user as a result. BringIt's real-time transactional platform enables publishers to integrate challenges, tournaments, social leaderboards, virtual currency collection, and payouts into their titles. BringIt claims that its product increases average play time and converts more players into paying users. CrowdStar has used the platform in match-three puzzle game Pop Boom since December 15, and intends to launch it in Happy Aquarium and other titles by the end of the month. The company says Pop Boom has seen a significant increase in both total Facebook Credit spending and average revenue per user since adding BringIt support. RockYou, another social gaming firm, also integrated BringIt's platform into Zoo World last month, reporting a six-minute increase in average user engagement per session, as well as an average effective earnings per thousand impressions of $120 per user. "CrowdStar is happy to announce that we have successfully deployed the next level of BringIt-powered monetization," says CrowdStar CEO Peter Relan. "CrowdStar is the first to enable players to directly exchange Facebook Credits for CrowdStar currency by playing a mini-game. Relan continues, "The flexibility of BringIt and ease of platform integration enabled CrowdStar to offer additional functionality our users want within our existing applications, such as Pop Boom."
