Disney Interactive Studios has announced that Jean-Marcel Nicolai will join executive team as senior vice president of global production, where he will oversee Disney’s worldwide video game production. Nicolai's oversight will encompass the company’s five internal development studios, externally developed projects and future studio expansion. He will be based at the company's Glendale, California headquarters and report to Disney executive vice president and general manager Graham Hopper. Before Joining Disney Interactive Studios, Nicolai spent seven years with Atari, where he was responsible for leading and managing five internal studios, external product development, production support and technology development in the dual role of senior vice president, product development and chief technology officer. Disney executive vice president and general manager Graham Hopper commented, “Jean-Marcel joins us at an exciting time as we continue to showcase our commitment to quality and we build our already robust portfolio of global development teams and internal studios. Jean-Marcel’s deep experience in the video game and technology sectors makes him a strong leader and an ideal addition to our executive team.”
