The previously untapped game selling potential of mass-market drug stores is now being exploited. Value priced software distributor eGames has announced that initial orders from chain retailers including Walgreens, Eckerd, and Rite Aid have reached an impressive $3 million. The company plans to continue to focus on selling its slate of family and value priced games in non-traditional channels like food and drug stores, to that end appointing John Ciotola to head up a dedicated Food and Drug sales division.
