Newsbrief: Electronic Arts is looking to expand its global customer service center in Galway, Ireland, with the news that it will take on 300 more employees over the coming months, with support from the Irish Government. The facility, which was opened last year as a support center for BioWare MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic and currently houses over 400 employees, will now act as EA's European customer support center for all its major game titles. It is no longer known as BioWare Ireland, EA confirmed to Gamasutra. The company's COO Peter Moore noted that Ireland provides a good mixture of technology infrastructure and talent availability. The Irish Government has recently been pushing digital video games as a key part of its plan for job growth in the country.
