Representatives from German developer and publisher Elkware have announced that the company has established a subsidiary in downtown New York. Co-founder Nils Weitemeyer and US MD Dirk Nagel will lead and supervise the company’s expansion. The primary goal of the new offices will be to focus on the mobile games market, despite the company being most famous for hardcore strategy titles such as 1503 AD: The New World (aka Anno 1503). The company will be making its North American trade show debut at the CTIA Wireless Conference in Las Vegas, from October 21-23.
