Officials from the International eSports Conference (ESCONF) have made a call for papers for the fifth annual event, due to take place between May 27th and 28th in Cologne, Germany. Promoted as the leading worldwide conference on eSports and gaming communities, last year’s event saw 250 industry experts in attendance. Organizers Global Games Media have now made a call on eSports and gaming experts in the industry, science, politics, the media, sports and the community to solicit keynote speeches, lecture and panels. Submissions will be open until March 28th and ESCONF is also soliciting research papers to be presented on topics related to eSports. The best presentation of the year will be presented with an award of €250 ($381) at the show. “Our goal is to not only present the issues and topics the industry is addressing, but to also provide a forum for experts to discuss and find solutions that can help eSports grow internationally,” said Global Games Media CEO Frank Sliwka. Further information and submission instructions can be found at the official ESCONF website.
