Julian Eggebrecht, president of Californian developer Factor 5, has indicated that the company will not be creating any more titles for this generation of consoles. There is confusion though as to the company’s plans for the future, with ambiguous statements from Eggebrecht appearing to suggest that the team would be developing for multiple formats in the future, in particular the PlayStation Portable. Although Factor 5 was never formally made a second party developer it has not produced any titles for non-Nintendo hardware for many years. If it intends to break this trend for the next generation it makes it the second exclusive developer to leave Nintendo in as many days – following Silicon Knights' announcement to that effect yesterday.
