In today's Gamasutra audio gallery, we check out the work of Matt Sayre, a composer and audio professional based in Seattle, Washington, and creator of the scores to DarkSpace (Palestar), Produce Panic (Plan B Games), the upcoming Independent Games Festival entry TubeTwist (21-6 Productions), and a number of other game titles. Unusually, in addition to his work on game scores, Matt has also begun creating the Front Porch series of GigaStudio instrument samples, with the well-received Front Porch Banjo and Front Porch Tuba leading the way. In his profile, Sayre also discusses major game soundtracks that have influenced him, citing classics such as Jedi Knight, Grim Fandango, the Monkey Island series, Daggerfall, and Outcast. You can learn more about Sayre and listen to/watch some of his work in this latest Gamasutra audio gallery. (free registration required.) [NOTE: if you are an video game audio or graphics professional interested in submitting an audio/art gallery for possible feature inclusion on Gamasutra, please submit assets via the gallery application page.]
