The first ever video game expo in China has been scheduled for January 2004 in Beijing. Entitled ChinaJoy, the expo will feature a number of conferences and lectures, with participation from several Asian publishers. Topics to be tackled will include game development and piracy – the latter being one of the most serious impedances to a successful Chinese games market.
