The editors of industry-leading game website Gamasutra have announced a call for technical articles to be published as front page features on the website and in upcoming special site sections, with particular attention paid to cutting-edge programming and art specifics. Those interested in submitting articles should contact the Gamasutra editors via email, including a short synopsis of the article, a description of why it is useful, and some basic background on the author's experience. The site is particularly interested in programming articles on AI, physics, and rendering issues, as well as pipeline and tools discussions and a full range of other code-specific topics. Art tutorials discussing modeling and texturing specifics and other practical tips are also sought-after. Those Gamasutra technical articles which end up getting published will be a minimum of 1500 words in length, deal with relevant topics to today's cutting-edge game developer, and the writer will be paid an 'honorarium' as part of the arrangement. We're particularly looking for working game professionals to contribute articles, despite their busy schedule, but are equally interested in those in peripheral fields who have something valuable to contribute. If you have any other questions, please follow up with us and we'll be happy to answer queries.
