Game Center To Open At Art Institute Of California

The Art Institute of California, located in Los Angeles, will be opening a Game Center on January 26th. The grand opening will feature actual video games on display, as well as access to motion-capture equipment and educational material, such as magazines and DVDs, to help budding designers, programmers, and animators. The grand opening will begin at 4:00pm on the 26th, and feature guests from the industry. The Game Center will be freely accessible, making it a valuable contribution to the Art Institute's existing Game Development curriculum as well as a resource for the wider independent game development community, at least those based in Los Angeles. Partnering with the Art Institute of California for the Center are a number of tools companies, including Alias, Autodesk, Nvidia, and wondertouch.
