Gamecock Media Group's primary distribution partner in the PAL territories, CDV Software, will work with UK-based Mastertronic Group in a new European distribution deal for the Dementium and Mushroom Men publisher's games. Mastertronic's The Producers will handle all of Gamecock’s PAL territory distribution and cash collection requirements, and act as their European distribution center. Specific games mentioned for release this year include Stronghold Crusader Extreme, Hail to the Chimp, Dementium, Insecticide, Velvet Assassin, Mushroom Men and Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball. Gamecock recently opened its own European offices in London, hiring a number of local industry veterans to oversee expansion into mainland Europe and handle deals with local developers. The company has an agreement with German publisher CDV Software, which granted exclusive rights to license, market, and distribute its titles in Europe. Gamecock clarified that CDV is still the company's European distributor -- CDV is the one that hired Mastertronics while The Producers pitch in with logistics. “We chose The Producers as our primary European distribution partner as they demonstrated they were committed to giving us a level of service that was scaled to our needs," said Graeme Struthers, European managing director at Gamecock.
