Today's round-up includes the latest release dates for major MMO titles from publisher NCsoft, as well as a new student-related game website. - NCsoft officially released financial results today; though the results themselves were already covered when they debuted in the Korean media, new release dates for the company's 2005 slate also emerged via this new North American-sourced report. In Korea, Guild Wars will come out in the first half of the year, while the Korean release of City of Heroes will launch in the second half. April 28th will see the North American and European launch of Guild Wars, while City of Villains and Auto Assault will come out at unspecified times later in the year. Notably absent from the release slate are Richard Garriott's long-in-development title Tabula Rasa, as well as Alter Life; presumably, both titles have been moved back to 2006. - Full Sail and TLC Industries have partnered to open NextArcade Student Showcase (not to be confused with the Student Showcase at the CMP-affiliated Independent Games Festival.) TLC's NextArcade Student Showcase is meant to spotlight games created by student developers, and Full Sail Real World Education and the Illinois Institute Technology are the first two schools whose students are highlighted on the NextArcade site. The site and showcase will be displayed in Full Sail's booth at the Game Developers Conference from March 9-11 in San Francisco.
