Today's round-up includes details of another 'Dear Friends' concert starring Nobuo Uematsu and chums, as well as a university internship position at Nintendo Japan which allows DS game creation. - Orchestral music from Final Fantasy will return to Los Angeles to coincide with E3 2005, in "More Friends: Music From Final Fantasy - With Special Guests." The venue has changed from Walt Disney Concert Hall to the Universal Amphitheatre, but conductor Arnie Roth will return from 2004's "Dear Friends" concert. The World Festival Symphony Orchestra along with the CSUF University Singers will perform more songs from the popular RPG series, and series composer Nobuo Uematsu will also perform with his band the Black Mages. The concert will take place on May 16th, and tickets will go on sale March 21st. - Nintendo of Japan will host a ten-month game design seminar at its Tokyo offices for selected university students. Those who pass Nintendo's stringent application process will join the rest of the students in working to create a game for the Nintendo DS. Students can apply online for specific areas such as graphics, sound, programming, and design until May 9th; those selected will begin three-hour sessions every week through March 2006, with an intensive training camp in August 2005.
