With the recent news that Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend and Stacking studio Double Fine Productions is working on a Sesame Street Kinect game, the team has unveiled yet another Xbox 360 exclusive title. An announcement trailer has been released for Trenched, an Xbox Live Arcade downloadable game about saving the world from hordes of evil aliens. The trailer shows the human race hitting back with huge striding robots and beefy weapons, yet has a very mid-20th century vibe throughout. No details have been released yet, but it appears that customization of both your vehicles and soldiers will be a big part of the experience. Double Fine's Lee Petty and Tim Schafer talked to Gamasutra last month about how the vision of an individual can lead to the most expressive games. Regarding the upcoming release of Kinect title Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster, project lead Nathan Martz told Gamasutra that the game started out as an original title that just happened to fit extremely well as a Sesame Street-branded experience.
