The first ever conference specifically on the subject will, according to the conference creators, "allow top executives to address the increasing collaboration between film and interactive entertainment and the resulting opportunities to improve production methods and business models." Hollywood & Games recently confirmed a keynote by Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator and forthcoming Castlevania movie director Paul WS Anderson. It has also recently added major figures from both the film and video game worlds, including Alex Young, Senior VP of Production, 20th Century Fox; Kevin Feige, President of Production at Marvel Studios, Inc. (Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and X-Men trilogies); and Chris Archer, Executive Producer, Treyarch (True Crime: Streets of LA, Spider-Man and X-Men franchises), as well as Sean Besser, Vice President, Business Development, Movielink, and Flint Dille, Executive Producer, Bureau of Film and Games (Soviet Strike, Tomorrow Never Dies, Dead to Rights, Riddick). Already confirmed video game industry figures for the one-day conference include EA's Neil Young, Microsoft's Greg Canessa and Shiny founder Dave Perry. High-level moderators for the multiple film/game discussions have also been confirmed, and they include Brent Weinstein, United Talent Agency; Cody Alexander, Head of Video Games, William Morris Agency, and Seamus Blackley, Creative Arts Agency, as well as Keith Boesky, Principal, Boesky & Co. The first Hollywood & Games Summit will be held at The Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows in Los Angeles on June 27th, and more information is available at the official Hollywood & Games Summit website.
