iGames, the game center chain, and Nvidia, producer of graphic processor chipsets, have announced a month-long charity ladder to benefit the Get-Well Gamers Foundation, a public charity devoted to providing games to residents of children's hospitals. The fundraiser will run from March 10th to April 16th, at 300 iGames and Nvidia member centers throughout the country. Participants earn points similar to other ladder-style tournaments through actions such as volunteering time to hospitals, donating product to hospitals, signing on friends to the charity program, and other charitable actions. The game centers with the most points at the end of the ladder period will be eligible to win prizes donated by the charity's sponsors, including NEC flat-panel monitors and Pro Media speakers. "It’s been great organizing this campaign with iGames and NVIDIA," said Get-Well Gamers Foundation president Ryan Sharpe. "Between iGames' wonderful efforts at organizing and mobilizing their network of game centers and Nvidia's incredible generosity, we know that this campaign is going to be a big success for both our organization and, more importantly, for the very sick children whom we gladly serve."
