Joining the board are Robert Huebner, technical director of Nihilistic Software, and Graeme Devine, designer/project manager at id Software. “The next few years will see the IGDA become an even more essential part of the game development community. I plan to work directly on making the association even more valuable and responsive to its members, and to the industry as a whole." Huebner and Devine will both serve two-year terms. Along with the new additions to the board, the IGDA is also announcing new board officers. Outrage Entertainment’s Matt Toschlog has been elected to serve as IGDA chairman, while Ion Storm’s Warren Spector will take the role of secretary and Factor 5’s Julian Eggebrecht will become treasurer. More information is available at the IGDA website.
