The first four awards were presented in the IGF's "craft" categories, recognizing games for achievement in specific technical categories. For the category of Best Audio, Denmark-based Space Time Foam took the award its title, Chase Ace 2. Hardwood Spades, from Silver Creek Entertainment of Grants Pass, OR, took the prize for Best Visual Art. Rounding out the evening were the Best Game Design and Technical Excellence awards, both of which went to Shattered Galaxy, a massively-multiplayer RTS game from Nexon. Nexon has offices in Sunnyvale, CA, and Seoul, South Korea. The last two awards presented by the Independent Games Festival, the Audience Award and the Seumas McNally Grand Prize, will be given out tonight at a ceremony at the San Jose Civic Auditorium.
