Indie Dev Tiki Announces Novastrike Shooter For PSN

Independent developer Tiki Games has announced the studio's first title with Novastrike, an "intense, frenetic" top down shooter expected to be released on the PS3's PlayStation Network in early 2008. The studio says the game takes place in "a sci-fi war zone that pits players against an onslaught by the world-conquering Draelus," as they "utilize free-roaming flight and multiple weapon variations to combat an armada of alien forces in the air and on land." The game will include seven stages with objective-based goals, nine base weapon systems each with three upgrade levels, a multitude of enemies and friendly fighters, bombers and destroyers to aid the player. Tiki also says that the game will support the DualShock 3, and that it will continue to add content to the game throughout 2008.
