Infogrames Entertainment has announced that its first quarter sales rose 60 percent to 136.6 million euros from 85.6 million in the three months to September 30, 2000.
The company also noted its U.S. unit Infogrames Inc, has returned to profitability, showing a net profit of $552,000 versus a loss of $32.7 million in the same period a year ago. The quarter was boosted by a first-time contribution from Hasbro Interactive, which Infogrames Entertainment bought last December.
