The non-profit digital entertainment alliance Interactive Ontario has scheduled two serious games-related gTalk sessions for this month in Canada. These sessions of the gTalk game industry speaker series will discuss ways in which the gap between video games and serious games can be bridged. The first talk, to be held on February 19th in Toronto, will focus on the defense, education, enterprise and health sectors in relation to serious game projects. PlayGen UK's Kam Memarzia will present related case studies at the conference. The event will take place between 4:00 and 6:30 PM on the 35th Floor of the Ontario Investment & Trade Centre, at 250 Yonge Street in Toronto, Ontario, M5B 2L7. gTalk's second event on February 26th in Ottowa will feature Gamasutra's Mathew Kumar. The session will be held at bitHeads at 139 Carling Ave in Ottawa, Ontario between 6:30 and 10:00 PM. The cost of registration for both events is $25 plus GST.
