Intrinsic Graphics announced an agreement with Quazal to deliver a customized version of Quazal's Net-Z networking middleware for Intrinsic Alchemy. Intrinsic Alchemy is a game development platform that currently provides core game functions and services like process management, timers and alarms, memory management, controller and mouse management, display management, and CD/DVD management. With the upcoming integration of Net-Z, Alchemy users will have a way to network-enable their games as well. Quazal Net-Z for Intrinsic Alchemy will be available for evaluation through Intrinsic Graphics in late 2002 for the PS2, Xbox and GameCube. No information was provided about pricing.
