The Square Enix/Disney mash-up Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for DS led Japanese video game sales for the second consecutive week, while the PlayStation 3 game Shin Sangoku Musou 5: Empires cracked the top three, according to Media Create. For the week ended June 7, Kingdom Hearts sold 106,000 units, bringing total unit sales to 401,000 units across two weeks. In that short amount of time, the game became the best-selling title for May in Japan, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu reported earlier this week. Capcom's Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, another two-week-old DS game, logged 42,000 in sales, bringing life-to-date sales to 214,000 units. One of the three home console games that made the list was Koei's Shin Sangokumusou 5: Empires (Dynasty Warriors in the U.S.) for PS3, which debuted the prior week at number three, and maintained that spot this week. Total sales for the game are 103,000. The only new entries in the top ten this week were Arc Rise Fantasia from Marvelous and Evangelion: Jo from Namco. Titles dropping out of the top ten from the prior week were Higurashi no Nakukoru ni Kizuna: Dai San Kan - Rasen from Alchemist, Utawareru Mono Portable from Aqua Plus, H.A.W.X. from Ubisoft, and the Xbox 360 version of Shin Sangokumusou 5: Empires. Below are the Japanese sales charts for the week ended June 7:
