Kaydara has announced it will unveil Filmbox version 3.0 at NAB 2001. Filmbox provides a new way to acquire, author and deliver digital content in real time for film, TV, games, and the Web. It provides a streamlined workflow where 2D and 3D graphics, video, and audio are integrated into one unified pipeline. The latest version of Filmbox extends the content-authoring ability with significant improvements to the character animation process, providing both high-level controls and advanced animated parameters. Filmbox 3.0 also introduces a host of workflow enhancements that enable studios to become more cost effective and productive. Filmbox provides integration with all major 3D packages, allowing users of Alias Wavefront's Maya, Kinetix's 3D Studio Max, New Tek's Light Wave, and Softimage 3D to take full advantage of Filmbox's animation tools. Filmbox is platform independent, and is supported by Microsoft Windows NT/Windows 2000, SGI IRIX, Red Hat Linux, and Apple Mac OS X operating systems.
