LA Film Schools Offers $20K Animation Scholarship

The Los Angeles Film School has announced that it will offer a $20,000 Computer Animation scholarship to the winner of a computer animation competition it is hosting, which is open until December 22. The competition, which will be made up of contestants that create and submit themed animation projects, is open to the general public. The contestant with the most imaginative project will receive a $20,000 scholarship towards The Los Angeles Film School’s Computer Animation Associate Degree program. Artists will be eligible to submit their original work from November 25 to December 22. A winner will be announced December 26. Bobby Milly, the Los Angeles Film School’s Computer Animation program director, will oversee the competition and will name the scholarship recipient. “This is a truly great opportunity for talented individuals to showcase their abilities and jumpstart their career,” Milly said in a press release. “I can’t wait to see the work of these aspiring designers and animators.” Since the project is open to the public, applicants are not required to have prior computer animation experience.
