Sales have continued to dip in Japan, ahead of the major Christmas releases, with only one significant new title in the form of Spike’s sequel to Way of the Samurai. The title performed better than its predecessor, breaking the 100,000 mark and going straight into number one. By contrast new entries rhythm action game Dance Dance Revolution Extreme and dating simulator Kimagure Strawberry Café managed little more than 10,000 sales each.
