As sales charts world-wide take on the calm before the traditional storm of Christmas releases the UK charts this week still managed a few surprises, not least the fact that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 managed to stay at the number one spot for another week - signalling by far the best performance ever for the franchise in the UK. Codemasters employees will be more than happy to see their Club Football series of soccer action titles in at number two though, especially as this position came after only three days on sale. The Club Football series actually comprises seventeen titles, themed to various different teams in the UK and Europe. Although the game engine is identical in each title the individual packaging and presentation for specific titles seems to have proven highly popular.
