Majesco has announced that it will be publishing a new Wii exclusive title with Our House, a home building and decorating simulation title in development by Budcat Creations for a holiday 2008 release. Developer Budcat is a regular Majesco contributor, having created both its New York Times Crosswords DS title, and the forthcoming Wii port of Tumiki Fighters, Blast Works. The developer also recently ported Guitar Hero III to the PlayStation 2. Majesco says Our House "turns the Wii Remote into the ultimate creation tool that lets players design, build and decorate their own personalized trophy home they can share with others in an online neighborhood." The publisher promises both interior decorating and building functionality, as well as sections to better your home's overall neighborhood value, with special four player "build offs" and Wii Connect 24 online capabilities to share homes and build communities in "Neighborhood Mode." It's not yet clear if, as with Blast Works and other recently announced Wii exclusives like Wild Earth: African Safari, the game is a port of an existing PC title, or is an original Budcat IP. Said executive operations VP Gui Karyo, “Few things are as exciting as building and personalizing a home of your own, and only the innovative Wii Remote makes it possible to hammer every nail and paint every wall. We believe Our House’s combination of unique subject matter, endless creativity and competitive multiplayer fun will resonate with players of all ages.”
