MI6 has announced the keynote speakers for its April 8-9 marketing conference, including Chuck Brymer, CEO of ad agency DDB, known for its 'Whassup' Budweiser ads, and CSI creator Anthony Zuiker, as well as announcing a new study on the game resale market to be revealed in an exclusive conference session. MI6 says Brymer is "one of the foremost experts on brands, corporate identity, advertising and brand valuation," and is the author of Brands and Branding. Brymer helms DDB Worldwide, the agency that has created a number of memorable campaigns, including the aforementioned Budweiser commercials and Lyndon Johnson's famous "Daisy" ad for the 1964 presidential election. For its creative keynote, Anthony Zuiker will be speaking on his experiences creating and creative directing the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation franchise, a regular Neilsen Top 10 broadcast contender, nominated for 28 Emmys. MI6 notes Zuiker has also "used his passion for gaming to evolve the shows into a multi-platform entertainment phenomenon, including board, mobile, online games and virtual worlds," and will be speaking on the digital medium and the future of content. As part of the announcement, MI6 has also said that in its "continued quest to inform and impact ROI for video game marketers and promoters," it has commissioned a new study on the video game resale market from research firm OTX, and will be presenting the findings exclusively at the conference. The April 8-9, 2008 MI6 Marketing Conference this year is focusing on "cracking the code" -- defining the combination of creative strategy, innovation and partnerships that lead product launches, ROI and careers. The 2008 conference will take place April 8-9, 2008 in San Francisco’s Grand Hyatt Union Square.
