Organizers for video game marketing conference MI6 announced that the annual event will return for its fourth year on April 7 - 8, 2009 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco. Targeted at marketing, promotion, design, and advertising professionals, the upcoming conference will be driven by a "Mastering the Momentum" theme, focusing on how to best maintain two consecutive years of 20 percent growth in the video game industry. The conference has previously featured keynotes from CSI creator Anthony Zuiker and panels including luminaries such as Peter Moore and Nolan Bushnell. Organizers have also opened the call for session and speaker proposals, encouraging professionals from all areas of the entertainment business to pitch ideas. "The video game industry has had unparalleled growth in a time where traditional entertainment is hurting," says MI6 president Jonathan Block-Verk. "The MI6 conference allows us to celebrate the triumphs of this exciting industry, and share best practices across the community to ensure continued growth and shared success." Information on how to register for the MI6 conference or on how to to submit a session proposal can be found at the event's official site.
