Microsoft is adding six studios to its list of first-party developers.
Among the companies newly signed to create Xbox titles are Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions and Yeti Interactive, a new studio formed by Rayman veterans. Radical Entertainment, Blitz Games, Curly Monsters, and Vision Scape round out the group. All will create exclusive titles for Xbox which will be published under the Microsoft label. "Having Microsoft as a publisher is great because they've got the determination and resources to make the game right, and to bring it to an enormous worldwide audience," said Schafer. "They're also exciting to work with because of their commitment not just to future-generation technology, but to future-generation content."
