Microsoft Puts Discreet in the Incubator

Discreet announced today at the Game Developers Conference that it has teamed up with Microsoft to provide its software for participants in the Xbox Incubator Program.

Effective immediately, participants in the program will receive fully functioning licenses of 3ds Max 4, Character Studio, and the new Reactor physics simulation extension for free and for the full term of their membership in the program. The Xbox Incubator Program gives developers a six-month window to prototype a game concept and try to secure publishing and distribution agreements with Xbox game publishers.
