Microsoft has announced that this Wednesday will see another double release on Xbox Live Arcade, this time featuring two arcade remakes with Konami's side scrolling Rush 'n Attack and Namco Bandai's top down shooter Xevious. Described as a "heroic arcade action game," and enhanced with the usual updated graphics - with new 3D models - music and sound, Konami's Rush 'n Attack features four stages of sidescroller platforming as players fight their way to free prisoners of war. The game will also feature Live and local co-op and competitive play, and the usual Leaderboard and Achievements, for a price of 400 Microsoft Points ($5). Namco Bandai's Xevious will join Konami's game, a classic early vertical shooter pioneer in which players attempt to "take down the nefarious supercomputer GAMP and defeat the Andor Genesis mother ship. The updated original will be available for 400 Points ($5), in what Microsoft claims is the first "100% arcade accurate" form of the game, complete with all its hidden bonuses.
