French-headquartered mobile entertainment company In-Fusio, which is creating mobile titles based on the Halo franchise, as well as Age of Empires 2, Neopets, and The Terminator titles, has announced that it has divided the company up into two separate divisions. The bulk of the company will continue to develop and publish games under the In-Fusio name, while its mobile game channel management services will be re-branded as a separate division, Mobile Scope. Under the new structure, Juergen Goeldner, Executive Vice-President of Publishing, will oversee operations for In-Fusio Publishing. The company currently distributes its existing portfolio of more than 90 downloadable games and entertainment applications for mobile phones via 300 wireless carriers and portals worldwide. However, Gilles Raymond, CEO and President, will head Mobile Scope, which will continue to provide turnkey gaming services to carriers in Europe and China, supported by seven major international handset manufacturers and 10 carriers worldwide. The current game services reach more than 17 million mobile subscribers worldwide, and includes features such as gaming platform management (complete hosting and delivery of games, multi-player servers, and customer billing and support), alongside game content management (assessment of content, game selection, quality assurance and contract management) and player community management (Direct and cross marketing, accurate reporting and analysis of usage, and coordination of player contests and promotions.) "Carriers are not only seeking quality content, but also ways in which to maximize ARPU (Average Revenue per User)," said Jeffrey Lapin, Chairman of In-Fusio's supervisory board. "With two separate divisions, In-Fusio and Mobile Scope, the company is in a better position to serve our customers' respective needs for both great mobile entertainment and superior games management services."
