Mobile Entertainment company Mobliss has announced that the mobile game Deal or No Deal, based on the hit game show, is now live, although support from specific carriers was not noted. The Deal or No Deal game show has turned into massive hit for NBC since its debut. Contestants are given a closed briefcase with a monetary amount between 1 cent and $1 million, and are then offered varying amounts of money to walk away from the game, as the contents of more and more of the previously-closed briefcases are revealed. "We're excited to be bringing the 'Deal or No Deal' mobile game to consumers because we feel 'Deal or No Deal' is a perfect match for mobile devices," said Jim Merrick, President and CEO of Mobliss. "'Deal or No Deal' offers a very simple concept that makes it accessible to a wide range of players who want to test their strategy -- and their luck -- against the banker to try and find the suitcase that contains the million dollars. Now fans of the show are able to try and beat the banker anytime, anywhere." Mobliss, apart from its standard operations which include game licensing and development, is the operator of its own mobile messaging and Mobliss' proprietary SMS voting platform, the latter most widely known for powering 'American Idol' SMS voting.
