Monumental, Alchemic Dream Partner For Middleware Support

MMO middleware and online game developer Monumental Games has announced it will be partnering with service provider Alchemic Dream to give MMO developers access to Alchemic's management, event, customer support, and localization services. Monumental's Technology Suite (MTS) is based on a number of component systems which form a complete toolset. The components include server technology, client technology, a graphics engine, development and management tools. These tools sit at various stages of the development, product and market life cycle of online project development. The company has also recently announced a partnership with voice chat supplier Vivox to bring the latter's Precision Studio to the middleware. Alchemic Dream has lent its support to a number of MMOs, including Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach, Fury, Pirates of the Burning Seas, Archlord and Kwari. ”At Monumental we realise that the development, launch and ongoing operations of an MMO goes beyond the underlying technology itself,” said Paul Mayze, Business Development Director for Technology at Monumental.“Alchemic Dream’s specialist skillset fits in well alongside our roster of existing partners that include best-of-breed billing, VoIP and hosting solutions."
