nDreams, the publishing and development studio formed in 2006 by former SCi/Eidos creative director Patrick O’Luanaigh, has made several announcements it says mark a new phase for the business: a new project deal, a studio expansion, and the appointment of a non-executive director. nDreams announced it has signed a deal for an undisclosed project with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, though the developer has yet to provided any further details. The studio also announced its expansion, increasing the size of its internal team with a new Farnborough office, adding that it expects to continue to build its full time and freelance staff. nDreams will also form a new division, nDreams Brandplay, to work with advertisers to focus on branded interactive entertainment. M&C Saatchi head of planning Mark Willifer has been appointed as a non-executive director to advise on the formation and expansion of nDreams Brandplay. nDreams CEO Patrick O'Luanaigh said: "We’re really excited about the future and the direction that we’re heading in. The appointment of Matt Willifer, who has over ten years of experience at the highest levels of the advertising industry, will greatly assist us in the development of our new division." "We are thrilled to be working with SCEE and look forward to developing a strong relationship with them," he concluded. "We continue to grow a strong creative team and believe we are uniquely placed to deliver innovative gaming solutions to brands, advertisers and publishers looking for something different."
