Reliable Software has released Code Co-op 4.0, the company's version control system. Version 4.0 adds support for mobile computing, enabling laptop users to collaborate over a LAN while on the network and by E-mail while home or traveling. Tree-view and file filtering simplifies the navigation through project files. The built-in Visual Differ now includes extended search/replace and unlimited undo/redo. Code Co-op 4.0 runs on the Windows, and the E-mail dispatching requires a Simple-MAPI E-mail client like Outlook Express and Eudora, or a MAPI client like Outlook XP and 2002. It is priced at $159 per seat, with discounts for upgrades.
