Officials from Nintendo of Europe have revealed details of the full line-up of first and third party titles to be released in the first and second quarter of 2008, including Mario Kart Wii but not the already delayed Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Unlike many other first and third party publishers, Nintendo continues to maintain a quite separate release schedule in Japan, North America and Europe - with many titles debuting at different times in different territories and often under different names. The most notable absence in this new European schedule though is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which was recently delayed from a late 2007 release in Japan and North American to January 24th and February 10th, respectively. The game was never announced for release in Europe during 2007, but its absence from the current schedules is unexpected. Edited highlights of the release schedules are as follows: Wii Software 2008 Wii Chess (Nintendo) - 18th January Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure (Capcom/Nintendo) - 18th January Donkey Kong: Jet Race (Nintendo) - 25th January NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (Sega) - January Ghost Squad (Sega) - January Battalion Wars 2 (Nintendo) - 15th February No More Heroes (Rising Star) - 29th February Destroy All Humans 3: Big Willy Unleashed (THQ) - February Naruto Wii [tentative title] (Tomy/Nintendo) - 28th March Bomberman Land Wii (Rising Star) - March Sega Superstars Tennis (Sega) - March Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity (Sega) - March Harvest Moon: Magical Melody (Rising Star/Nintendo) – March Worms: A Space Oddity (THQ) - Q1 Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (Konami) - Q1 Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo) - Q2 Dancing Stage Hottest Party (Konami) – spring Nintendo DS Software 2008 Advance Wars: Dark Conflict (Nintendo) - 25th January Professor Kageyama’s Maths Training [tentative title] (Nintendo) - 8th February 2008 Naruto: Ninja Destiny (Tomy/Nintendo) - 15th February Harvest Fishing (Rising Star) - 15th February Magic Taizen [tentative title] (Nintendo) - 14th March Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice (Capcom/Nintendo) - March Bomberman Land Touch 2 (Rising Star) - March Dungeon Explorer (Rising Star) - March 2008 Sega Superstars Tennis (Sega) - March Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (Square Enix) - Q1 Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (Square Enix) - Q1 Hannah Montana: Music Jam (Disney) - spring
