3D touch tech company Novint Technologies has announced a partnership with Electronic Arts to make a number of its sports and action titles like Madden and Tiger Woods PGA Tour usable with Novint's Falcon game controller. Novint says the games will be released for the Falcon later in 2008 and will include titles from the NBA Live, Need for Speed and Battlefield franchises as well as those listed above. The company says that using the Falcon controller will allow gamers to "feel extremely realistic touch sensations such as the weight of a ball as it is thrown, the sideways acceleration of a car as it drifts around a sharp turn, or the realistic recoil of a machine gun." Said EA technology VP Scott Cronce, "The Novint Falcon gives gamers an exciting new way to experience our products. Incorporating the Falcon's sophisticated touch technology is one of the many ways EA continues to deliver great gameplay to our customers."
