Nvidia has introduced NV17M, a new-generation mobile graphics unit. The NV17M features custom antialiasing hardware designed specifically for notebook computers in a new, highly integrated package design. Nvidia’s power management features include the Power Mizer, dynamic power-modulation hardware and software technology that provide users a full range of system power control. Power Mizer adapts to changing application demands and user preferences, and intelligently provides power only to the portions of the chip being used. Nvidia’s mobile GPU’s are in volume production now and will be available in notebooks in early 2002.
