NVidia announced that its Q2 earnings jumped 50 percent from the same period last year, and raised its outlook for the coming two years based on expected strong sales.
The company also announced a 2-for-1 stock split effective Aug. 28. The company's earnings for the quarter ended July 31 were $33.6 million (39 cents per diluted share) compared with $22.5 million (28 cents per share) last year. Revenue for the quarter reached $260.3 million, up 53 percent from $170.4 million last year.
